Kasteel Borgitter, known as the White Castle, is a historic 18th-century Maasland-style castle located in Kinrooi near the Belgian-Dutch border. Built on the site of a 16th-century fortress by the Van Waes family, the castle features classical architecture with distinctive corner towers and rests on oak pilings. The estate encompasses formal castle grounds alongside 18th-century farmhouses and a historic water mill, creating a complete medieval manor landscape. Its oak-lined avenues inspired the first line of the Limburgish folk anthem, cementing the castle's cultural significance in the region.
