Kasteel Tielenhof is a moated medieval castle near Tielen in Kasterlee, characterized by its L-shaped ensemble of traditional brick and sandstone construction. Originating from a fortified watchtower documented in 1096, the castle dates to the 14th century and includes a baroque coach house from 1686 and a gatehouse featuring a wooden drawbridge. Hidden within nature near recreational area Hoge Rielen and close to Tielen train station, the castle underwent significant restoration in the 1970s that emphasized its historical character. Today it represents a well-preserved example of rural medieval Flemish architecture.
