Kasteel Rey, also known as Kasteel Calmeyn, is a neoclassical castle built around 1720 in the Italianate style by Marie-Henriette del Caretto de Savona y Grana, widow of Karel Eugenius van Arenberg. Located in Drogenbos, the castle features distinctive whitewashed facades with rectangular windows and multiple volumes of varying heights, positioned on elevated ground within a protective park. The 50-hectare estate represents a significant portion of the tiny municipality's total area. In 1870, the property passed to the Calmeyn family through marriage, and today it remains a private residence while hosting special heritage events and educational programs for schools.
