Château de Trazegnies is an 11th century fortress located in Courcelles, Belgium, within the province of Hainaut, Wallonia. Originally built by Gilles I, it was largely destroyed in 1554 during the Italian Wars but subsequently rebuilt with a Louis XIII-style corps de logis added in the 17th century. The castle served as an important independent seigneurie on the edges of several major medieval territories and has been classified as a site of significant cultural heritage since 1950. Today it offers exhibitions, guided tours, and hosts a medieval festival, presenting its rich history through cultural activities throughout the year.
