Château de Biourge is a 17th-century castle located in Biourge, Bertrix, in the Belgian Ardennes, of which the original rear façade and two round and polygonal towers remain. The castle witnessed significant historical events, including the birth of renowned polar explorer Étienne de Gerlache on December 25, 1785, when his family, the Gerlaches, occupied the estate. The De Gerlache family, who originated from the Liège region and became master forgers in the Duchy of Luxembourg, have maintained the property and regularly open its gardens to artists and musicians, preserving the castle as a cultural venue.
