Schloss Würmla in the Tulln district of Lower Austria dates back to the 14th century as the seat of the Lords of Pain. The present structure, built in 1894, features a distinctive U-shaped floor plan with a covered entrance set within an adjoining park near the town center. Since 1970, the municipality has owned the castle, which now houses the local municipal office and residential apartments following a 2000-2002 renovation, serving as both administrative center and civic landmark.
