Zugang Puxerloch is a medieval cave castle ingeniously carved into limestone cliffs on the southern slope of Pleschaitz mountain near Teufenbach in Styria. Built directly into the rock face, this unique fortress comprises two main structures integrated with natural cave formations and underground passages spanning hundreds of meters, creating a remarkable defense system. The site, first documented in 1181, sits approximately 75 meters above the Mur valley, offering strategic protection and commanding views across the landscape. Reaching the ruins requires a challenging half-hour hike involving steep terrain, and access is restricted to authorized visitors only.
