Wasserschloss Neudau is a well-preserved water castle in the Styrian municipality of Neudau, first documented in 1371 and rebuilt in the late 19th century in Second Baroque style. The complex comprises an outer bailey with a impressive round tower, residential wings arranged around an inner courtyard, and chapel sections. The estate retains remarkable 17th- and 18th-century furnishings and period stoves, while a small early 18th-century theater building sits within its grounds. Owned successively by the Neuber, Polheim, Rottal, and Auersperg families, this aristocratic seat exemplifies Styrian castle architecture and domestic heritage.
