Castle Marchegg, known as Austria's stork castle, sits in the Marchfeld meadows of Lower Austria surrounded by centuries-old trees. Recently restored, the castle combines nature and culture as a regional destination. The Stork House serves as an information center for nature tourism featuring exhibits on storks and wild Konik horses. Visitors enjoy themed tours including architecture walks, stork-watching expeditions, and combination tours covering castle history and regional museums. Additional activities include e-bike rentals, school programs, and children's birthday parties, operating seasonally from April through November.
