Totzenbach Castle is a Gothic fortress in Kirchstetten's Lower Austrian Mostviertel region, with the knightly Totzenbach family documented from 1147 onwards. The medieval castle served as refuge during Turkish attacks in 1529 and 1683, then was extended in Renaissance style during 1588. Following destruction during the French attack of 1809, the castle was partially restored and later became a cultural venue. Today, though not open to the public, the castle hosts regular events and weddings within its developed park and courtyard spaces, serving as home to Kulturherberge Schloss Totzenbach cultural theater.
