Schloss Jaidhof is a Renaissance castle in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, distinguished by its classicistic facade featuring triangular gables and column balconies. First recorded in 1381, the estate underwent significant transformation when Georg Ludwig von Sinzendorf acquired it in 1662 and reshaped it into a noble residence. In 1884, Wilhelm Ritter von Gutmann purchased the property, and architect Max Ferstel gave it its present architectural form. The grounds encompass a courtyard, castle chapel, and English garden with ponds and pavilion remnants. Owned today by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X, the castle serves as a retreat center, with its courtyard, park, and chapel freely accessible to visitors.
