The Großsölk Nature Park House occupies a 14th-century castle originally serving as a rest stop for muleteers crossing the historic Sölk Pass trade route. Following decades under Jesuit ownership and later use as a parsonage, the castle has housed the Nature Park House since 1998. Six medieval castle rooms contain permanent exhibitions exploring the nature and history of Sölktäler Nature Park, while the Jesuit Garden showcases medicinal and culinary herbs, and exhibits detail traditional Alpine cheese-making heritage.
