Stauff Castle in Frankenmarkt, located on the right bank of the Vöckla River near the train station, was preserved by beverage manufacturer August Starzinger through extensive restoration. The castle now houses the market museum "Frankomarchia," which chronicles the development of this historic trade and industrial location through displays in period rooms. Notable features include the "Ratsstube," furnished in Renaissance style to reflect the castle's former administrative and judicial functions. Stauff Castle serves as a special events venue for celebrations, weddings, corporate functions, and cultural gatherings, blending its historical significance with contemporary use as a cultural monument.
