Deutschkreutz Castle is a striking four-winged Italian Renaissance structure built in 1625 by Count Paul Nádasdy on the remains of a 15th-century fortress. The castle features a rectangular arcade courtyard and four corner towers, exemplifying the noble residences of Burgenland's border region. Once damaged during World War II, the castle was meticulously restored beginning in 1966 and now operates as a museum and cultural center, hosting exhibitions and events while preserving its significant historical character.
