Sheikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Fateh Fort, also known as Riffa Fort, is a 17th-century fortress located in Ar Rifā', built under Persian Safavid rule and later converted to a defense and residential complex by Sheikh Salman Bin Ahmed Al Khalifa in 1812. The fort features three elaborate rectangular chambers, each with independent courtyards, along with a circular garrison, well, and nearby mosque. The site holds exceptional historical significance as the birthplace of Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa (1869–1932) and served as Bahrain's capital until 1869. The interior design was enhanced by the French firm La Meduse with architectural elements honoring the structure's heritage, and the site includes the Saffron Café overlooking Al-Haniniya Valley.
