Weidenholz Castle is a moated castle dating to the 13th century, situated at the edge of Waizenkirchen in Upper Austria's Grieskirchen region. The castle features a water-filled moat surrounding its entire complex and has housed numerous prominent owners throughout history, including the Starhembergs, Schaunbergs, and members of the Austrian nobility. In 1930, the municipality acquired the property, which was later renovated in 1989. Since 1992, it has served as home to the regional music school, blending historic architecture with cultural education in a picturesque setting.
