Tower of Chiriveta is a medieval stronghold dating to 1070, located in the abandoned settlement of Chiriveta near Viacamp y Litera in Huesca's La Litera region. The fortress features a distinctive cylindrical watchtower approximately 3.5 meters in diameter and 15 meters tall, positioned to control the northern entrance to the Mont-Rebei gorge from its hilltop vantage point. Though time has deteriorated much of the original structure, remnants of the walled enclosure and defensive moat remain visible, testifying to medieval fortification techniques. The site is featured as part of the circular hiking route PR-HU 206, combining nature, history, and ethnography while showcasing the Romanesque hermitage of Nuestra Señora del Congost nearby.
