Torres Mocha y Del Reloj are twin medieval towers located in the Jaén province's town of Peal de Becerro. The Torre del Reloj, built in the late 14th century, features Gothic-style architecture with ashlar stones and stands approximately twelve meters high, notable for the clock face added to its machicolations. The earlier Torre Mocha, deriving its name from lacking crenellations, measures seven meters per side and showcases Romanesque rubble masonry with reinforced corners. Both towers were constructed by Christian settlers following the 1361 conquest of the town, replacing earlier Arab structures. Today they occupy a singular urban space in Plaza Cronista Cazabán, complemented by a modern auditorium for cultural activities.
