Torre de la Manresana is a 10th-century medieval watchtower standing 21 metres tall in Els Prats de Rei in Catalonia's Anoia region. Constructed as part of a defensive network when Osona's county extended its authority over Anoia and Segarra, the tower was substantially reformed in the 12th century. During the 1711 War of Spanish Succession, it served as a strategic observation point for Austrian forces. The robust structure features carefully cut stone blocks joined with mortar and a single mid-height door accessed via drawbridge, representing the castle complex's most reinforced element. Today the site is freely accessible, though interior exploration requires advance reservation.
