The Castle

Collings Castle, also known as Dr. Collings Rock Castle, is a distinctive 1930s stone structure built by University of Oklahoma professor Dr. Ellsworth Collings as a summer retreat. Situated high above Turner Falls within the 1,600-acre Turner Falls Park, this medieval-inspired castle features native limestone towers, parapets, and multiple rooms including bedrooms and a bunkhouse. Though abandoned since the 1980s, visitors can explore the castle ruins nestled beneath dense forest canopy and enjoy the dramatic backdrop of the roaring waterfall below. Admission to the castle is included with park entry.
