Palacio de Arazuri

Palacio de Arazuri is a 15th-century castle-palace in Navarra's Cendea de Olza region, built by Don Lancelot of Navarra and later reformed in 1550 with Renaissance modifications. The rectangular structure features distinctive prismatic towers at each corner, embrasured crenellations, a barbican wall section, and a main tower crowned with machicolations characteristic of medieval fortress design. After passing through the Beaumont family following a 15th-century marriage alliance, the palace has been preserved as a National Historical Monument since 1966. Today it maintains good structural condition while serving as residences, representing well-preserved examples of Navarrese aristocratic medieval architecture.
