Kinnettles Castle is a mid-19th century Scottish Baronial mansion set within 58 acres of Angus countryside near Forfar. The estate traces its origins to a land grant from King Robert III to Alexander Strachan in the early 14th century, though the current iconic castle structure dates from the Scottish revival period. Originally a modest two-story house documented from 1678 occupied the site before successive ownership by the Lindsay and Moodie families. Today the castle operates as an exclusive destination venue, featuring 11 luxurious bedrooms and suites alongside impressive public reception rooms, a bar, and facilities for weddings, celebrations, and private events. The expansive grounds provide an atmospheric Highland setting, combining historical Scottish heritage with contemporary hospitality.
