Kasteel Steenhout is a water castle in Galmaarden, Belgium, with roots extending to the Middle Ages as the seat of a medieval seigniory. The imposing classical castle dates to approximately 1775 and is constructed from brick and bluestone in traditional architectural style. The 50-hectare estate encompasses beautiful water features and grounds. Since 1989, the castle has been owned by Brouwerij Palm and completely restored, with its courtyard now housing a coach house and stud farm featuring Belgian draft horses. Visitors can explore long walking paths through scenic trees and gardens.
