Kasteel Magis

Kasteel Magis is a late 19th-century castle located near Sint-Pieters-Voeren in the Voer region of Belgian Limburg. Built by Alfred Magis-Trasenster on a site historically known as Rot, the castle features distinctive neo-traditional architecture in broken stone with a rectangular floor plan and slate-covered pitched roof with dormers. The front facade displays two tower-like extensions under tent roofs, creating an elegant appearance characteristic of the period. Extensions added around 1957 include a lower bay section and additions to the rear facade. This modest yet architecturally significant castle contributes to the heritage and character of the scenic Voer region.
