Juelsberg

Juelsberg is a classicist estate situated west of Nyborg on Funen, embodying the refined architectural tastes of 18th-century Danish aristocracy. Designed in the 1770s by architect Johan Jacob Encke following Gregers Christian Juel's 1772 purchase, the estate evolved into one of Funen's largest holdings by the 1860s when substantial side wings were added. The beautifully proportioned manor is surrounded by a romantic park featuring distinctive linden tree alleys and adjacent woodland. Though the main estate remains private property of the Juel family, the park offers public access daily from 10:00 to 17:00 between May and October, allowing visitors to experience the graceful landscapes and historical setting that characterize this significant 18th-century aristocratic residence.
