Fortin de Punta Almina

Fortín de Punta Almina stands as a protected Cultural Heritage Site (BIC) located on Ceuta's strategic Punta Almina peninsula, near the iconic Punta Almina lighthouse that stands approximately 200 meters from the fortification. The structure underwent comprehensive restoration that carefully preserved its historical integrity while modernizing essential systems including electrical installations, ventilation, and fire protection. Following rehabilitation, the fortín has been repurposed with a focus on environmental and cultural tourism, housing the Environmental Sectoral Council and offices dedicated to nature conservation.
