Ennsegg Castle in Enns is a Renaissance and Baroque fortress built between 1565 and 1570 by imperial councillor Dr. Gienger following a grant from Emperor Maximilian II to restore the medieval Georgenberg site. The castle features well-preserved architectural elements from both periods and gained historical prominence when it housed Napoleon after the Battle of Ebelsberg. Situated in a picturesque landscape overlooking Enns, the castle now functions as a cultural venue hosting concerts, exhibitions, and festivals, while also accommodating private events such as weddings and receptions.
