Crupet Castle, also known as Carondelet Castle, is a medieval moated fortified farmhouse in the picturesque village of Crupet within Assesse, Namur province. Built in the 11th or 12th century, the donjon dates from the 13th century and comprises a main tower surrounded by broad moats with an L-shaped farmhouse. The property passed through several noble families including the Crupet, Carondelet, and Mérode families, and was restored by architect Blomme in 1925. Located in a village labeled one of Wallonia's most beautiful since 1996, the castle remains private but opens occasionally during heritage days.
