Château Mounet-Sully in Bergerac is a 16th to 19th-century castle set within a 4-hectare wooded park, named after celebrated actor Jean-Sully Mounet, born in Bergerac in 1841. Designed starting in 1880, it became a prestigious meeting place for theatrical and artistic figures, with renowned sculptor Rodin allegedly contributing capitals to the cloister. Today the château operates as a bed and breakfast, restaurant, and venue for guided tours and Saturday evening cocktails.
