Château d'Orion is a 17th-century Béarnaise manor house set within 30 hectares of grounds in the village of Orion, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, positioned between Pau and Biarritz in southwestern France. Originally constructed as a lay abbey and later modified by the Casamayor family who maintained the nearby church, the property was completely renovated in 2003 while preserving its original architectural features and furnishings. Today it operates as a cultural centre and guesthouse offering five rooms with views across gardens and mountains, complemented by yoga classes, skiing, and cycling opportunities. The estate hosts various cultural events including readings and lectures in its converted barn, creating a welcoming environment for guests seeking both relaxation and intellectual engagement.
