Château d'Hélécine is a grand neoclassical castle situated in Opheylissem within Walloon Brabant, Belgium, located 40 kilometers from both Brussels and Liège. Built on the premises of the old Abbey of Heylissem founded in 1129, the present structure represents the abbot's house, restructured in 1870 by architect Alphonse Balat. Notable for its 25-window façade spanning two levels, the castle stands within a 28-hectare park comprising a natural reserve with three fishing ponds, a giant sundial, and a 19th-century ice house. While the castle interior is not open to public tours, rooms are available for rental for events and celebrations.
