Originally called the Château de Mondésir and built within a sprawling 9-hectare park, the château was constructed using innovative materials designed to evolve and integrate naturally with the surrounding landscape and vegetation. Copper fittings on its doors are intended to develop an atmospheric patina over time. Today, the château hosts the city's cultural services and serves as a vibrant community hub, featuring a 60-seat children's theater, music school facilities, association meeting rooms, and an art exhibition space showcasing contemporary works and local artistic expressions.
