Château de Savignac-Lédrier, nestled in the heart of Périgord Vert in Dordogne, is a Renaissance-era château built between the 14th and 16th centuries. This magnificent estate, comprising a main residential building flanked by two cylindrical towers, was historically the residence of iron masters whose lives were intertwined with the nearby forges dating to the late 15th century. Originally home to the noble Pasquet and Lubersac families, the château has remained in the hands of the same family since the French Revolution when Louis Combescot purchased the confiscated property. Protected as a historical monument since 1979, the château welcomes guests and comfortably accommodates up to nine people for vacation stays.
