Château de Plaisir is a characteristic 17th-century château in the Yvelines department of Île-de-France, with architecture and interior design marked by Louis XIII style including shutters with oak panels, period fireplaces, and solid oak staircases. Built for the Le Tellier family, the estate was purchased by the town of Plaisir in 1976 and opened to the public in 1977. Today, the commune-owned domain hosts cultural infrastructure including a media library, conservatory, and theater while remaining accessible to visitors. Its five-hectare park provides a recreational green space appreciated by residents and visitors for walks and cultural events.
