Château de la Grénerie

Château de la Grénerie, constructed in the mid-15th century by the Lesbolières family, sits on a terrace overlooking a small valley in Salon-la-Tour, Corrèze. Purchased in 1518 by the Beaupoil de Saint-Aulaire family from Brittany, the estate was significantly enlarged and later underwent extensive 19th-century restoration following its acquisition by Baron Rolland de Blomac in 1870. The castle comprises three distinct buildings: the original structure with four corner towers restored in 15th-century style, an intermediate building with square tower, and a chapel with neo-Gothic north façade, accompanied by outbuildings including an orangery, greenhouse, and farm buildings. A 3-hectare pond graces the landscape surrounding this private residence.
