Château de Hodoumont

Château d'Hodoumont in Ohey, Wallonia, is a fortified estate evolved from a medieval stronghold into an elegant pleasure residence. The structure features a rectangular medieval tower spanning four stories with barrel-vaulted chambers, complemented by a classical main residence with three corner towers crowned with octagonal spires. Developed in the early 17th century and remodeled from the late 18th century onward, the château is situated within expansive grounds enhanced by decorative basins, tree-lined pathways, and ornamental landscaping. Classified as Exceptional Heritage of Wallonia in 1983, it remains a significant example of regional aristocratic architecture.
