Château de Belcayre

Château de Belcayre is a 14th-century feudal dwelling in the Périgord noir region of Dordogne, France, positioned dramatically above the Vézère River. The château features a main lodging preceded by a defensive structure and drawbridge, accompanied by a distinctive round tower with machicolations dating from the 15th century. The property underwent significant remodeling in both the 16th and 19th centuries.
