Château de Beauvais is a Renaissance fortress built between 1533 and the late 16th century by the Conan and du Faure de La Roderie families in Lussas-et-Nontronneau, Dordogne. The rectangular structure is distinguished by two crenellated round towers overlooking a narrow valley, complemented by an imposing dovecote and covered well. Listed as a historic monument in 1973, the castle exemplifies archaic Périgord architecture from the Renaissance period. Today privately owned by the du Faure de La Roderie family, it remains open for visits and embodies centuries of regional aristocratic heritage in the heart of southwestern France.
