Château d'Augerville is a historic château built between the 13th and 17th centuries in Gothic and French Renaissance architectural styles, located in the commune of Augerville-la-Rivière, one hour south of Paris. First mentioned in a 1119 charter, it was enlarged significantly in 1290 by the Beaumont family and later acquired by Jacques Coeur, renowned silversmith of Charles VII, after the Hundred Years' War. The château now operates as a luxurious 5-star Golf & Spa Resort featuring 40 rooms spread across three historical buildings, set within a magnificent 100-hectare park on the edge of the Essonne river.
