Château Chapeau Cornu is a 13th-century château located in Vignieu, Isère, between Lyon and Grenoble, built on the site of an ancient Roman camp. The château takes its name from two allied families, the Capella and the Cornuti, whose Latin names created this distinctive name. Originally a fortified stronghold, it has been transformed into a four-star hotel set within a large wooded park with heated swimming pool facilities.
