Kasteel de Fauconval is a distinctive neoclassical manor house built in 1860 for the Rubens-Du Vivier family in Kortessem's town center. The three-story building with mansard roof was renovated around 1900 and renamed after its later owners, the De Bernard de Fauconval family. Today it serves as home to the Regional Landscape Haspengouw and Voeren offices and houses Tourism Kortessem. The estate features a picturesque park and the neo-Romanesque Chapel de Fauconval, a family burial chapel built circa 1900, creating a distinctive cultural landmark in central Kortessem.
