Castle Claeys-Bouüaert, located in Gent's Mariakerke district, is a Neo-Flemish Renaissance castle built in 1892 for the Claeys-Bouüaert family. The 85,000-square-meter estate features a brick and stone structure with a distinctive three-bay central risalit and ornate octagonal chapel with cupola. The grounds encompass formal gardens with a pond, servant quarters, and 18th-century structures including a tea house and garden pavilion, along with an interior chapel adorned with neogothic and polychromatic decoration. Now a public cultural heritage site, the castle remains well-preserved and accessible to visitors.
