Castillo de Moguer is a medieval fortress located in Moguer, Huelva province, Andalusia, originally built in the 11th century and renovated in the 14th century. The castle features a distinctive square design measuring 44 by 45 metres with four corner towers, each standing 9 by 9 metres and containing two domed chambers. Built from mud-based mortar, clay, and lime, the structure was historically surrounded by a protective moat and accessed via a ramp on the northwest side. The fortification represents an important example of medieval military architecture and has been carefully preserved as part of the region's rich historical heritage.
