Castillo de Laguna de Negrillos is a 15th-century fortress in the Páramo region of León province, Spain, approximately 42 kilometers south of León capital. Originally granted a charter in 1205, the current structure was reconstructed by Diego Fernández de Quiñónes and María de Toledo, parents of the historical figure Suero de Quiñónes. The castle features characteristic squared masonry construction with a preserved keep tower and crenellated walls, displaying medieval defensive architecture. After being purchased by the town council in 1993, conservation work was undertaken following its inclusion in the Red List of Heritage in 2008. The castle now serves cultural and educational purposes, offering visitors insight into medieval Castilian fortifications and the history of the nobility that once inhabited it.
