Castillo de la Tobaruela is a 15th-century noble residence built in 1475 by Alonso Sánchez de Carvajal near Linares in Jaén, Andalusia. Constructed over an earlier Andalusian fortress, this castle exemplifies the castle-residence model that reflected the power of late medieval noble lineages. Featuring a rectangular plan with a distinctive trefoil-shaped keep and Isabelline-style entrance adorned with its owners' coat of arms, the fortress represents an important architectural transition between medieval defense and Renaissance residential design.
