Castelo dos Andrade is a medieval Galician fortification located in Pontedeume, A Coruña province, with construction initiated in the 13th century by the powerful lords of Andrade. Standing at 20 metres high and also known as Fortaleza da Nogueirosa, the castle features a legendary tunnel connecting it to the family's residence for use during periods of conflict. Designated as a Good of Cultural Interest, the castle occupies a notable position on the Way of St. James pilgrimage route. Near the fortress stands Casa do Castelo de Andrade, a rustic-style rural tourism accommodation situated 300 metres away, offering visitors access to this historically significant Galician stronghold.
