Castelo de Arnado, also called Pazo de Arnado or Castillo Torre Penela, is located in the municipality of Vilamartín de Valdeorras in Ourense province, Galicia, Spain. This substantial structure was constructed during the second half of the 19th century upon land that had previously belonged to the Benedictine priory of Santurxo, part of the historic San Pedro de Montes monastery. The castle exemplifies late 19th-century Galician architectural construction and is protected under Spanish historical heritage law. Though built in a more recent period than many medieval fortresses, it remains an important landmark representing the enduring cultural significance of castle architecture in the Galician landscape and the region's monastic and noble heritage.
