Castell de Xinquer is a medieval fortification perched on a rocky outcrop near Alcudia de Veo in Castellón, Spain, at 550 meters elevation. Originally built during Islamic rule as part of the Alcaidazgo of Eslida, the castle was captured by King Jaime I in 1242 during the Christian conquest. This hilltop fort displays an irregular structure conforming to the terrain's contours, with remains of crenellations, a circular tower, and squared stone structures visible among the ruins. Though severely compromised by deterioration and unstable foundations, the fortress stands as a testament to medieval defensive architecture and centuries of strategic importance in the region.
