Castell de Samalús

Castell de Samalús, also known as Can Bori, is a fantasy castle reimagined at the turn of the 20th century (1888–1910) in historicist style, located in the Vallès Oriental region of Barcelona. This distinctive edifice retains two 16th-century windows from the original manor house, now integrated into its stone façade. The three-storey rectangular structure features neogothic architecture with a central pointed-arch portal, trilobed windows, gargoyles, and slate-covered towers with crenellations and machicolations. Situated within private property and surrounded by protective metal fencing, the castle remains a notable example of early-20th-century romantic architectural interpretation of medieval forms.
