Castell de Rodonyà is a Renaissance-style fortress in Alt Camp, Tarragona, documented from 1214 with significant ownership established in 1310 by the archbishop of Tarragona. The castle features a distinctive quadrangular floor plan crowned by crenellations, exemplifying 16th-century stately architecture typical of Camp de Tarragona. Now owned and headquarters of the Ayuntamiento of Rodonyà, the fortress underwent recent restoration that uncovered ancient structures hidden after 19th and 20th-century interventions. Declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1985, the castle reflects both medieval strategic planning and Renaissance aesthetic refinement.
